Documenting Life

The Steel Appeal would like to take an opportunity to talk/look at Photography.  Taking pictures, or as Johnnie Floyd calls it “Documenting Life” is a hobby for both Johnnie and Jason.

We would like to use this section of the website to show with images what Steel means to us.  When one thinks about what Steel means to our lives, and how much of it exists, hopefully it will help answer the question Why Steel?  The following photo essays are about the Beauty, Strength, and Sustainability of Steel.

When Jason spoke of the idea regarding a photo essay involving the Beauty, Strength and Sustainability of Steel with one of his fraternity Brothers, Merritt Vossler, Merritt jumped at the opportunity, and we are very glad he did because we think he did a phenomenal job, and additionaly Merritt took the opportunity to demonstrate that Steel is all around us each and every day, especially when you call New York City home.  Thanks Merritt.

We would like for more visitors to submit essays to The Steel Appeal, and at the end of the year the one with the most votes will get a trophy.  Cheers!
